From running for the Wolverines, to now excelling with the Sooners, former Lawton High School graduate Josh Bour has been a start for the University of Oklahoma Track and Field team since stepping onto campus and is continuing to make his mark on the National scene.

Bour graduated from LHS in 2021 and during his time as a Wolverine, took second in both the 100m and 200m events at the OSSAA 6A State Track Championships as a senior and had the 36th fastest time in the nation for the 100m dash.

During his freshman year as a Sonner, Bour was a scorer at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100, a NCAA Outdoor West Prelims Qualifier in the same events, and was part of the second team All-American 4x100 relay team.

Most recently, Bour secured his lane at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships by clocking in with a time of 20.70 (2.3w) in the 200m event at the qualifier. At those championships, Bour placed 24th in the 200 with a time of 20.80 and his 4x400 team finished in 10th with a time of 3:01.85.

We look forward to seeing more success from the former Wolverine through the next few years.
